Privacy Policy

Lento keeps the acute flow private by default.

Summary

Lento is an iPhone app for body-first self-regulation during panic moments, anxiety spikes, and emotional overload. The core 90-second steadying flow works without creating an account.

  • No advertising identifiers.
  • No third-party ad tracking.
  • No sale of personal data.
  • Optional account sync for recovery records and setup state.
  • Trusted-contact details are not uploaded by the current app.

Data we collect when you choose account sync

If you sign in, Lento may sync the following data so it can be available with your account:

  • Account information: email address, account identifier, sign-in provider, editable display name, locale, region, and app version.
  • Recovery records: Better/Same/Worse result, trigger tags selected by you, optional note text, protocol name, timestamp, locale, and app version.
  • Prepare settings: whether Action Button setup is marked ready, whether haptic rhythm is enabled, whether trusted-contact setup is marked configured, night default state, default protocol name, locale, and app version.

Recovery notes and trigger tags may include sensitive wellness information if you choose to write or select that information.

Data stored on your device

Lento stores app state locally so the acute flow can work quickly. Local data can include recovery records, prepare settings, language preference, and trusted-contact name or phone if you choose to enter them.

Trusted-contact name and phone are used on device for optional SMS handoff. Lento does not upload your contact book and does not automatically send SMS messages.

How we use data

  • Provide the Lento app and keep account sync working.
  • Show your recent recovery pattern and next-step guidance.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug service issues.

We do not use Lento recovery data for advertising.

Service providers

Lento uses service providers to run the app and account sync:

  • Supabase: authentication, database, and account deletion infrastructure.
  • Apple: Sign in with Apple and App Store distribution when you use Apple services.
  • Google: Google sign-in only if you choose that sign-in method.
  • Cloudflare: hosting and security for this website.

Tracking and advertising

Lento does not display ads, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising or advertising measurement.

Account deletion and privacy requests

You can request deletion in the Lento app from Account settings, or contact support@uselento.com. Deletion removes your synced Lento account data, including account profile, recovery records, prepare settings, and the authentication account where applicable.

Some information may remain where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Local data on a device may also remain until cleared in the app or removed from the device.

Safety and medical limits

Lento is not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency response. If you may hurt yourself or someone else, or you need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a local crisis hotline immediately.
